Gujarat:3 died in floods, government starts helpline. In Gujarat: Due to the torrential rains that started on Friday night, 20 tehsils, including Morbi, Rajkot, Surendranagar and Banaskantha, have been flooded. As a result of this flood three people killed, the NDRF team has rescued 6 people. On the other hand, the government has released helpline number 1077 for the help of the stranded people.According to the information received, 17 inch rains were recorded during the last 24 hours in Rajkot, Gujarat. For this reason, the city and surrounding areas became waterlogged. In most parts of Rajkot, water entered the house. The ring road of Rajkot also to look like a river due to this rain. Apart from Rajkot, in Morbi more than 12 inches of rain in the last 24 hours upset the area.Review meetings were convened by the Gujarat government on the situation arising out of this rain. The government has put the team of NDRF posted on all the places in support of the people.According to the information received so far, the FireFrog team from NDRF has so far carried out more than 100 people. Even more than 5000 people have been evacuated and taken to safer places. According to the Meteorological Department, due to low pressure in Madhya Pradesh, there could be heavy rains in Gujarat in the next 24 hours.
