Chandigarh, June 28 (IANS)- A special team of Haryana CM’s Flying team raided 356 places in the state for the prevention of the manufacture of counterfeit goods and illegal liquor. Also, for illegal operation of transport vehicles and such unauthorized activities. The cases have been registered against those involved. Apart from this, 98 Criminal cases have also been registered in different police stations.CID Inspector General of Police Anil Rao said that in the raids conducted at 38 places by the team, 30 thousand kilograms of contaminated desi ghee, 22 thousand liters adulterated palm oil and 47 thousand liters of mixed sour oil have been seized. Apart from this, fertilizer samples from different factories were taken and they were sent to the laboratory for testing. During the raids, 308 illegal gas cylinders were also recovered.
He said that the team exposed a gang involved in illegal oil and black oil in Karnal with 60,800 liters of black oil, 2 thousand liters vanity black oil, 1200 bags of lime powder, 108 drum wire and 45 bags in their possession. They have been successfully recovered. Team also revealed 17 cases of power theft during various raids at different places, the Department of Electricity will be taking legal action in these cases. He said that 86 places related to Excise and Carrying Department were raided where the country liquor, internation liquor made in India and beer’s 1,44,305 illegal bottles were recovered.
