Government’s decision of allowing the contract employees to continue their services has given them relief to some extent, but it also led to problems to adjust newly appointed employees of D-Group. Though, it is learnt that some of the contractual employees have been made to quit their job across the state while on the other side, the government claims that such employees will continue their jobs. It also came to know that about 15,000 contractual employees have been appointed in recent years and they are waiting for regular appointment.
Also, those contractual employees who have been thrown out of departments due to new appointments of 18,218 employees will be made to rejoin in the concerned departments in Haryana but scenario regarding the same seems blurred so far. “Supreme Court had already ordered not to make contractual appointments and same should be followed by governments,” said general secretary of Sarv Karmchari Sangh, Subhash Lamba. To allow the contractual employees to continue their job is a welcome step, he added. The present situation clearly indicates that things are not going well between both factions. It is pertinent to mention that new employees will be made to join against the vacant posts in various departments. Many boards, MC and the governments companies also have the vacant posts of Group-D. Apart from this, they have to follow certain set of guidelines enabling them to rejoin.
