Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister ManoharLal Khattar and Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar will visit Vulture Conservation Breeding Centre in Pinjore in Panchkula district tomorrow. The Chief Minister will inaugurate an exhibition on the occasion, an official release said here today.
A book on Sultanpur National Park would also be released and a Bird Aviary will be inaugurated, the release said. With a drastic decline in vulture population in country, the Environment Ministry has decided to kick start this year’s World Environment Day celebrations with the release of vultures bred in the nation’s first breeding centre. Javadekar said that he along with Haryana Chief Minister will release the vultures into the wild tomorrow. PTI
