Srinagar: A 35-year-old man was today killed and another injured when their motorcycle was allegedly hit by an army vehicle in Anantnag district of south Kashmir, police said.
The army vehicle allegedly hit the motorcycle driven by Fayaz Ahmad Wani near JIC Khanabal, 55 km from here, resulting in the death of his pillion rider Nizam Rehman on the spot, a police official said.
He said Wani, a resident of Kelem village, was injured in the accident and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered and efforts are on to identify the vehicle, the official said. PTI
