Shimla: Former BJP Chief Minister, Prem Kumar Dhumal on Monday questioned the state Vigilance Bureau that why it was not providing the copy of the complaint based on which he was being sent the questionnaire about his property detail.
“Despite my repeated requests, I have not been given the copy of the complaint against me,” he said, holding that it was pertinent to mention that the complaint against him was filed by one advocate Vinay Sharma, who had been given the post of Deputy Advocate General in the present government. Dhumal said the complainant had nor given any proof, nor any affidavit. “How can such a complaint be entertained?” he questioned. Dhumal said he had sent his property details in response to the Vigilance Bureau’s letter in writing on May 7, but the Bureau was again sending him letters, seeking the same information. He said a similar complaint was filed against him in Lokayukta in 2009 by an IPS officer, but after probe, the Lokayukta had closed the matter.
