Indian-Australian driver died in Australia road mishap. Parminder Singh alias Rinku (33) of Punjabi community and a resident of Punia Colony of Sangrur, Punjab met with an accident in Australia. Parminder was working as driver in Australia. He went to Australia in 2008 and got the permanent residency of Australia in 2013. He had visited India in March 2017 last time. As per one of his family member, Parminder lost the control over the truck and vehicle rolled down into a gorge. Immediately he was rushed to hospital of Sydney and declared dead when brought to hospital. “My son was on his way to Malvern from Brisbane when the mishap took place due to rain on December 1. I got the information of incident from one of his friend, who are making the efforts to bring the body back, which is lying in the hospital. But doctors are yet to perform the autopsy” said Rinku’s father Hardev Singh Rathi, 62. “I urge minister of external affairs Sushma Swaraj to help us so that we get his body soon,” Rathi added.
