Tech Company Microsoft is going to develop a software that will provide broadband services in the rural areas of the United States from unused T.V (White Space) medium. The amount of white space compared to WiFi is higher and its frequency can exceed the barrier of walls.The goal of launching this Plan is to provide broadband internet to rural areas in the US. Microsoft plans to include 12 states in this broadband pilot project. However this is not a latest technique, but Microsoft and other people are trying to deal with this problem from 2008.The use of this white space has some advantages of traditional ways of distributing broadband, as it provides better services than WiFi.Along with low electricity consumption.White space-based broadband hardware is very expensive, but Microsoft is also connecting with Microsoft ISP.The opportunity to create a new and affordable market with 24 million customers, is only possible with the help of regional ISP’s.
