PM Narendra modi reached Israel on Tuesday and was received by the prime minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior ministers at Airport. He has been welcomed in the capital Tel Aviv. Such reception has been done on behalf of Israel only on the reaching of the US Presidents and the Pope. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself was present at the airport to welcome PM Modi. Narendra Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Israel.Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said that he was inspired by the zeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi towards yoga. He highlighted the importance of yoga easy as a medium of connecting two world’s flourishing democracies. During a press Conference PM of Israel Said, “I accept that I am inspired by the enthusiasm of Modi towards yoga”. Netanyahu said that he wants to start yoga. He said, “Modi has advised me to start from the basics. When I do’ Tadasan’ in the morning and turn my head on the right, the first democracy I see is India, and when Modi performs ‘Vashisthasan’ and turns to the left, then Israel is the first democracy to see them. Therefore, India and Israel are two Sister Democracies in front of us.‘My friend Narendra Modi, welcome in Israel’
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in the program at the airport at PM Modi’s welcome: “My friend Narendra Modi is welcome in Israel. He said in Hindi, “Apka Sawagat hai mere dost”. Netanyahu said, we love India. Terming Prime Minister Modi as ‘a great leader of India and a great global leader’, the Israeli Prime Minister said, “We had been waiting for 70 years for the visit of an Indian Prime Minister”. At the airport, both leaders hugged each other three times. Both of them addressed each other many times as ‘my friend’.We love India and the culture of India:
PM Netanyahu said, “India is our friend. This visit in Israel of PM Narendra Modi is historic. We love the culture of India and India. Indian and Israeli are natural friends I remember what you had said in my first meeting with the relations of India and Israel. You said there are unlimited possibilities. But now I add that infinite possibilities”. Referring to the unlimited possibilities of cooperation between the two countries, the Israeli Prime Minister said, “We believe we can do great things together for betterment of future of our people. We also face common challenges, first of it is to defeat forces of terror. Need to stand and work together”.
