Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan will be in New Delhi on Tuesday as two days visit of India which will review the state of bilateral relations and discuss new areas of cooperation between the two countries.
Vivian Balakrishnan will meet Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj in the Tuesday afternoon. The meeting will be held at Jawahar lal Nehru Bhawan, New Delhi. In the evening, he will meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in their residence place.Minister Balakrishnan will also speak on the topic “India, Singapore and Asean: Shared History, Common Future” at the Singapore Symposium 2017 co-organised by the Institute of South Asian Studies and the Confederation of Indian Industry in New Delhi on Tuesday.Vivian Balakrishnan leaves for Guwahati on the second day of the tour. There he will meet Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. During the Guwahati visit, Dr Balakrishnan and Sonowal will also witness the signing of agreements to kick-start project implementation for the North East Skills Centre (NESC) in Guwahati.
