The court has given a relief to around 300 civil servants from Punsup. In 2014, the appointment of these employees was rejected while referring to paper leak. On June 23, the court ordered the government to join all employees through show cause notice. During the hearing in the court today, the court asked the Punjab government to give an affidavit. The court said that after June 23, why did not the employees got joining through show cause notice?High Court has given a major relief to all the staff members of the Senior Assistant Accounts, Senior Assistant Inspectors of Grade-1 and 2 who were appointed in the year 2014, by rejecting the order to expell them, the government issued new show cause notice to the newly appointed employees within a month and completed the entire process of seeking their response within three months and ordered the disposal of the case.In fact, due to the leak of the examination papers conducted by the Panjab University, these appointments were rejected and the government recommended fresh appointments. Justice A. B. Choudhary passed these orders while disposing of the case.After the leak of the examination papers held for these appointments, Punjab Vigilance filed an FIR in May last year and started an investigation. In this case, it has been recorded that many people has given examination by using leaked question papers.A high-level committee was formed in this regard and several such appointments were asked to be canceled. Yet, Many designated employees were not even given notice but they filed applications against it in the High Court. The High Court, while hearing the applications, had stayed in advance on the order to be removed employees and it was said that the appointments will depend on the decisions passed by the High Court on these applications. In the paper leak case, the committee has given NOC to Panjab University.
