BJP releases election manifesto: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Sunday released the Bharatiya Janata Party’s election manifesto ahead of the Assembly polls in the state. The corruption will be the main polls issue of BJP for the upcoming assembly elections.Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said, “One of our very experienced leaders will be the Chief Minister of the state. But it is a matter of strategy whether the party announces it or decides it after the elections. Several other BJP leaders of the state including JP Nadda, Prem Kumar Dhumal, Shanta Kumar among several others were also present.Himachal Pradesh will have 7,521 polling stations, including 42 auxiliary polling stations at remote locations.Election Commission has announced dates for polling in the state. The state will go to the polls in a single-phase on November 9 and the counting will take place on December 18.
