Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japan PM Shinzo Abe inaugurated high speed bullet train project in Ahmadabad on Thursday. But his ally Shiv Sena does not seems happy with this achievement of Modi government as it called as the project was not a dream of the common man.
In an editorial ‘Saamana’, Shiv Sena asked to Modi government if Ahmedabad-Mumbai high speed train project really fits into the needs of the country.
Shiv Sena also raised questions over need of Bhakra Nangal and Bhaba Atomic Research Centre which were established during Nehru-era
All these projects were needed for the nation. Does this bullet train fit into the needs of the country?” Shiv Sena asked.
Shiv Sena further demanded for loan waiver of farmers which were being made since many years and also alleged Modi to be pro-rich industrialist and anti-common man.
The high-speed train project between Ahmedabad and Mumbai is expected to be completed by 2022. It will cover 508-km route and 12 stations.
