“Swachh Bharat” campaign initiated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a notable difference is evident in the changing attitude of maintaining cleanliness in government office. Garbage dump and congress grass has been burgeoned in the joint premises of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) and Punjab State Transformation Corporation Limited (PSTCL).Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started this campaign with the motive to aware people and creates cleanliness in our country. Despite several functions, seminar and various rallies conducted by government departments to make this campaign successful, garbage dump has been created in the premises of PSCPL office located at Ferozepur road.
Multiple crore’s were spent by centre government only to make this campaign a successful one in our country so that India would become more clean. However government offices have not adopt this thing which is not acceptable as centre government should made team to vigil these things which are ruining the centre government successful campaign. However congress grass has been grown opposite the garbage dump which is proving that concerned department is not maintaining their premises as wild congress grass is very harmful.
However, wild grass, including congress weed, growing unchecked in vacant plots that have been turning into dumping sites gradually. On the one hand garbage that becomes breeding ground for mosquitoes and flies are leading to many diseases on the other hand the grass growing unchecked is leading to many mishaps.
Though, waste papers, garbage and other litter were seen in the vacant place of PSPCL as this is ruining the successful campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On contacted NPS Boparai, chief engineer of PSPCL said, “I will make sure that these things would be maintained and garbage would be removed from that particular place so that this would not ruin any government campaign”.
