A 21-year-old Pallavi Vikamsey, daughter of Nilesh Vikmasey President of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) has found dead on the railway track in Mumbai. The deceased girl was a student of Law. Pallavi’s body was recovered from the Currey road railway station at around 7:30 in evening.According to social media posts, the family was worried when she did not reach home on Wednesday evening. She was last seen entering a slow train from platform number 5 of CSMT around 6 pm on October 4. She was on her way home from work when the fatal incident occurred.According to sources, at around 6.30 pm, the Currey Road station master told the Government Railway Police (GRP) officials that the body of a woman, which was cut into two, was found on the railway tracks. The GRP officials reached the spot and took the body to hospital, where doctors declared her dead before admission.Police will also be recording statements of the motorman of the train and eyewitnesses when the accident occurred. They are also scanning CCTVs footages.
