J&K police arrests three terrorists: Three militants have been arrested during anti-militancy operation by security forces on Thursday in Jungle Qazikund of Kulgam district, Kashmir. Inspector General of Police Munir Khan gave this information. He told that the operation started on November 14. On the first day a terrorist was killed and a soldier was martyred during gun-battle.The deceased terrorist was identified as Muzammil Manzoor Dar. “Anti-militancy operation Kund has been continuing since November 14. Three terrorists arrested alive in this operation,” Muneer Khan told.Security forces, which include 9 RR, 10 Sikhli and 18 Batallion of CRPF, arrested terrorists Shamsul Viqar and Atta Mohd Malik during an ongoing operation in the forest area of Haalan-Kund area of Qazigund, in south Kashmir’s Kulgam. One of their associates Bilal Sheikh was also nabbed alive from the encounter site. “One of the three terrorists is injured, under treatment in hospital,” Munir Khan said.The IGP said Pakistan has been running a relentless campaign to lure Kashmiri youths to join militancy. “16 youths have joined militant ranks in last four months in South Kashmir,” Khan said.
