Mortal remains of Garud commando, Jyoti Prakash Nirala will be flown to Chandigarh at 1.30 pm on Sunday where he will be cremated with full state honour.Nirala died during an encounter between security forces and Pakistani ultras who had crossed over to the Indian side. During the encounter that ensued in Bandipura district of Kashmir, six terrorists among nephew of top LeT leader and mastermind of Mumbai attacks Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi was also killed.
Mortal remains of the martyr will be flown to old airfield in a helicopter.Born on November 15, 1986, Niraka has a three years old daughter. His wife Sushma Nand lives in Chandigarh while Nirala belonged to Rohtas in Bihar.
