“DO YOU KNOW WHAT’S MY CRIME FOR THEM? THAT A PERSON WITH POOR BACKGROUND IS CHALLENGING THEIR SULTANAT,” PM MODI SAID
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the Opposition saying “in hating Modi the opposition has begun to hate the nation”. In his reply to the debate on the Motion of banks for President’s address, PM Modi said the Congress sees things in two time periods — BC, which is ‘before Congress’ when nothing happened, and AD — ‘after dynasty’ when everything happened.Do you know what’s my crime for them? That a person with poor background is challenging their Sultanat,” he said. The PM said Congress leaders put stories of Indian Army coup, and say Modi is destroying institutions. “People have seen the results of ‘milavat’ government and will reject the ‘mahamilavat’ attempts,” the PM said, adding people will reject the government of people who assembled in Kolkata. Modi said former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi dismissed elected governments 50 times. Voters of 21st century have the choice between 55 years of ‘sattaa bhog’ versus 55 months of ‘sevaa bhaaav’, he said.
Attacking the Congress, Modi said, “You talk of launching surgical strikes in your times? You had emancipated the Indian Army so much that it was not in a position to take the decision of a surgical strike.” He said the Congress doesn’t want IAF to be strengthened. “I am levelling a grand charge on the Congress. They don’t want IAF to be strong. I ask them which firm are they favouring by seeking to scrap the Rafale deal,” the PM asked.“Congress free India is not my slogan, I am merely fulfilling what Mahatma Gandhi wanted,” he added. PM Modi riled Congress by saying BR Ambedkar had once said joining Congress is like committing suicide. Congress and inflation are inseparable, he said. The PM said more NGOs accepting foreign funds will shut in coming days, 22,000 have already closed down. He also gave a detailed account of job creation under NDA. “Our farm income scheme not piecemeal like your loan waiver scheme,” the PM said, adding, “You waived Rs 52,000-crore loans in 10 years of your rule.
‘PM is a coward’
With the country hurtling towards Lok Sabha elections, Congress president Rahul Gandhi in a frontal attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi challenged him to a “debate on national security and Rafale”. He said PM Modi “will run away” from debate. “Narendra Modi is a coward, he will run away from debate,” Gandhi said at the national convention of the AICC minority department in New Delhi on Thursday. “Narendra Modi is a ‘darpok’ (coward) person. He will run away from debate on national security,” he said adding
