Rajasthan sikh assult case: 3 including Sarpanch got arrested. The police has arrested three people, including Sarpanch of village Chainpura, in connection with the assault of four Sikhs in Ajmer, Rajasthan few days back. Police has arrested Sarpanch Ramdev Singh, Sharvan Singh and Raju, resident of the village. The sarpanch Ramdev Singh had also complained against four Sikhs.A police constable has been removed along with arrest of the three. This action has been done after Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh asked Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia to take personal action in the matter. In addition to Captain, SGPC, DSGMC and Akali leaders, wrote letters to Chief Minister Scindia for justice.Nirmal Singh, one of the four victims, said that he went to village Chainpura to take Dasvand for Langar for Gurudwara khairthal in Alwar district. The villagers abused and brutally beat them. This all happened in the presence of the police constable. Even the police constable told the villagers to teach them a lesson but don’t touch their head.After the incident, the village sarpanch registered a complaint of molestation against sikhs, the police took took them to the police station. They released them next day. According to Nirmal Singh, the police had refused to register a complaint from them but now after examining the matter on social media, the case is handed over to Ajmer’s AD. SP (Rural).
