Sources reveal Ajay Singh, co-founder and owner of SpiceJet to be the next new owner of NDTV. Ajay Singh was involved in the core team of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) 2014 election campaign. The channels will be controlled by Ajay Singh.According to sources, SpiceJet Chairman and Managing Editor Ajay Singh will have around 40 percent share of NDTV. Pranay Roy and Radhika Roy will have around 20 per cent shares. As per the figures from the Bombay Stock Exchange till June 2017, promoters in NDTV have 61.45 percent stake.Ajay Singh was in the board of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) in 1996. He had planned the rejuvenation of DTC. During his tenure the number of DTC buses was increased by 300 to 6000.Ajay singh is a man who coined ‘Abki baar, Modi Sarkar’ During the campaigning of Narendra Modi. He has been the OSD of Pramod Mahajan during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government. During that time, he played a major role in launching DD Sports and DD News.
