Three Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists were killed on Monday when a cordon and search operation (CASO) turned into an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian. Hizbul Mujahideen group has been designated as a terrorist group by India, the European Union and the United States. Though Hizbul had no official support from Jamaat-e-Islami.As per the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Control Room, yesterday at 5 p.m, a cordon and search operation was carried out by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Army and the CRPF in the Gatipora village.Two AK Rifles and one INSAS Rifle were recovered from the spot. The operation has been concluded.
