Yogi government is all set to make a new Guinness world record by lighting the banks of Saryu River in Ayodhya with 2 lakh diyas on the sacred occasion of Diwali. Order has been placed for two lakh earthen lamps and preparations are in full swing to make the record.Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will arrive in Ayodhya on October 18. He will welcome the ‘Ram Shobha Yatra’ of the ongoing Ram Leela in Ram Katha Park.Most of the Diyas that will be used for the mega event are being manufactured at Kumhartola of Harsinghpur. The first diya will be lighted by the chief guest Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself, post which every student will light up the diyas. This is for the first time that the Uttar Pradesh Government has made an announcement for holding a grand function on Diwali in Ayodhya.
