Chandigarh – Punjab government is exploring the possibility to use multi-layered-plastics (MLP) in the construction and repair of roads. “PWD and Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) will work jointly on the use of MLP in the construction of roads,” said PWD Minister Vijay Inder Singla. For research purpose, a small experimental stretch was constructed on a road passing through Ikolaha in Ludhiana with the use of MLP along with Bitumen.
