Got Rs 10,000 shout slogans: An audio clip allegedly of PAAS member, Narendra Patel, surfaced on Friday. In this clip Patel is heard telling an unidentified man that he was given Rs 10,000 to shout protest slogans at Amit Shah‘s programme in Surat. It may be recalled that recently Patel had alleged that he was offered Rs 1 crore to leave PAAS and join the BJP, and had even flashed Rs. 10 lakh in note as proof.Got Rs 10,000 shout slogans, In the audio clip, Patel is also heard saying that senior Congress leaders, including Gujarat Congress Chief Bharatsinh Solanki, were among his contacts. However, the authenticity of this audio clip is yet to be verified. Moreover Narendra Patel has denied that the voice in this audio clip is his and demanded a probe into the allegation. Congress leader Solanki also said that the allegation are baseless. The man who is heard in the audio clip speaking as Narendra Patel says that he had left the place after Got Rs 10,000 shout slogans.“I participated in public meeting for 3-5 days in which i had to spend the entire money. The person also clarified that the money was given to me to shout protest slogans in Amit Shah’s public meeting in Surat,” the man claiming to be Narendra Patel says. In the audio clip, Narendra Patel explains what had happened. “Once I and Atul were sitting in Bharatsinh’s chamber. i told him that we were tried of raising funds. Now, the Congress should also spend some money for us because even Patels had stopped giving us money,” Narendra Patel is heard saying.He goes on to say that when they were discussing this, Jivabhai came there and Bharatsinh told Jivabhai that these persons are fed up now. “When Bharartbhai scolded him, Jivabhai even said before him that he had given Rs 10 lakh after Ahmedbhai (Rajya Sabha member from Congress and Sonia Gandhi’s political adviser) phoned him and asked him to give the money for some Mahila Sanmelan,” Narendra Patel says.He further says in the audio clip that once, when he called up Bharatsinh, his PA picked up the phone and said that Sahab is in Borsad. “I had even asked him why had he given money to others PAAS members? I also threatened to hold a press conference in this regard. Later Hardik called me at around 1:45 am in the night and asked me to keep calm and don’t get into affairs of money. After Hardik told me to stay calm, I have never picked up that issue ,” Narendra Patel says in this clip.
