Seeing the financial situation in the state, the Finance Department of Punjab Government has launched a cut-off on the salary of the police staff. Instead of reducing other government spending, the Finance Department has issued a notification and has barred non-gazetted staff a month’s extra salary for the year.According to the information issued by the Finance Department of Punjab Government, the letter No. 378 / 16-6-17 was kept in mind by the notification of the department of the year 1981, according to the information. Under the old notification, constable, head constable, A.S.I Income, sub inspectors, inspector positions are issued to the staff members for vacation in a year’s pay as compensation for the wages. For this reason, 13 months’ pay is released instead of 12 months. Under this notification, the government has now excluded the staff posted in these police stations from the same facility. The notification said that the staff posted in the police stations would get the facility but the staff posted in the police offices said the same. The facility will not be available. According to the notification, the staff of the staff posted in the offices does not work on the day of the leave due to which they have no reason to be paid. According to the information, there are about 70,000 police personnel in the state, out of which Salaries have been reduced, more than 25,000 employees are included in them.
