Amritsar: Though entire Punjab witnessed a triangular contest in Assembly polls but Budhlada in Mansa saw an unprecedented contest.
AAP fielded principal Budh Ram, whereas Congress gave ticket to Ranjit Kaur Bhatti and Dr Nishan Singh Kauldhar was a candidate SAD-BJP alliance.
Budhlada is only assembly segment where all three party candidates got 50,000 votes. AAP’s Budh Ram, who emerged victorious from the seat got 52,265 votes and trailing behind him was Congress nominee, Ranjit Kaur Bhatti, who secured 50,989 votes. The Dr Kauldhar of SAD also managed to get 50,4677 votes.
