13-year-old girl forced to marry, by her grandmother. Police have registered a case against a woman regarding the marriage of her granddaughter, woman is resident of Pindori Ran Singh village of Jhabal. Police station Incharge Harchand Singh said that sarpanch of village Pindori Ran Singh Sarabjit Kaur informed the police that Manjit Kaur widow of Tarsem Singh, had betrayed her granddaughter Sandeep Kaur (13) daughter of Rajwinder Singh and made her marriage forcefully with Hardeep Singh resident of Pakho village. Police inspector, who has filed a case against Sandeep Kaur’s grandmother Manjit Kaur, has started the further proceeding.Police In charge said that three months ago, Manjeet Kaur had started the planning of marriage of granddaughter Sandeep Kaur by betraying her, but after the detection of her deceiving to granddaughter by police, she was stopped with the help of some people. But later Manjeet Kaur had again duped her and Sandeep Kaur forced to do child marriage. Police In-charge Harchand Singh said that the accused would be arrested soon.Chairman of the Swag Association, Navjot Kaur Chabba said that strict action should be taken against the marriage of minor boys and girls and their swag association, which is fighting legal battle for the rights of children and women, will reach the High Court. Advocate Chabba said that girls should be educated before getting married at a young age so that they can be able to live their life.
