Amritsar: “Badals and Captain Amarinder Singh share a secret alliance and both the partiers are contesting 2017 elections in Punjab jointly,” National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said while addressing “Punjab Inquilab” rally on Wednesday.
Kejriwal said that Badals and Amarinder have looted Punjab during last 15 years and promoted their family businesses by ignoring the interests of Punjabis.”
While accusing Badal Government of patronising drug mafia and criminals in Punjab, he assured to build a fearless and prosperous Punjab after formation of AAP government in 2017.
Attacking Captain Amarinder Singh he said that the congress chief has amassed huge wealth during Congress government in state but when Badals came in power they took no action against him. This is because of the clandestine agreement by the Badals and Capt. Amarinder Singh to protect each other’s interests.
Kejriwal said that Captain’s sentiments for Sikh community can be gauged from the fact that he gave clean chit to Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler who are the main accused of 1984 riots.
Kejriwal promised to put kingpin of drugs in Punjab Bikram Majithia behind the bars for ruining lives of lakhs of Punjabi youth by unleashing narco-terrorism in State.
Citing an example of Delhi, he said that despite numerous obstacles created by the Modi Government, Delhi government had provided state of the art health facilities where people were getting free medicines and the tests were done without any charges.
Huge changes had been made in the education sector where the infrastructure of government schools had been made at par with reputed private school. While highlighting the loot of private schools in Punjab, Kejriwal said that his government in Delhi has acted against all such schools and the same will be done in Punjab after formation of the government.
