Patiala: The rebellion in Aam Aadmi Party has become a bone of contention for Arvind Kejriwal. AAP national convener Kejriwal is on ten day tour of Punjab after parting his ways with former stte convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur.
As AAP distributed tickets , the leaders who failed to find their name in the list have raised a baner of revolt wherever Kejriwal is touring in the state.
AAP is holding a worker’s rally today at grain market of Samana, a sub- divisional township of this district. Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh, Punjab convenor Gurpreet Singh Warriach alias Ghuggi and all other senior leaders of the party are expected to attend and address the proposed
Meanwhile it’s learnt that now the party leadership is trying to kill the bird by stone and under the plan they are planning to pacify the party rebels and opened up doors of the parleys for them.
Party sources told Daily Post that AAP leaders got in touch with rebels and they were invited to meet Kejriwal to discuss the matter. When contacted one of rebels Paramjit Singh Kainth, who applied for ticket from Shutrana (reserve) assembly seat confirmed that the party leadership started sending invitations to them.
He said that local observer Narinder Saroha has telephoned him about the same and fixed direct meeting with Kejriwal at 8 am today to sort out the differences.
