Honest and self-esteemed people will soon leave Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) due to corrupt practices by their leaders, predicted state Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia. He also said that such anti-Punjab political parties who are defaming the state by leveling baseless charges of 70 per cent youth as drug addicts must stop such dirty politics after the results of the dope tests conducted for the recruitment of the state police force.
Majithia said this while addressing a gathering at a function organised here to distribute cheques under Shagun scheme, gyms and tricycles.
Interacting with the media, Majithia said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi started the false propaganda against Punjabis and after that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, well-known for such cheap tactics, and his team launched a campaign to defame Punjabis as drug addicts. He said that it was crystal clear from the results of the dope tests conducted during the recruitment of Punjab Police as only a handful of candidates had failed the dope test.
Asked to comment on the issue of the dissent within the AAP after the ticket allotment in Punjab, Majithia said that honest founder members such as Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav left AAP crying foul practices in the party and now honest and self esteemed people of Punjab will also leave such a corrupt and dictatorial party.
He said that Kejriwal was making fake promises of providing 25 lakh jobs to the youth of Punjab, whereas in Delhi he has not even given a single job to anyone.
