Faridkot: The political existence of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is so transient that it will soon fade away from the political scene of Punjab. The party has drastically lost its significance in the state as the Punjabis have understood the deceitful policies of this new political outfit.
This was disclosed by Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal while addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Rural Sports and Cultural Festival on the occasion of Aagman Purab of Baba Farid. He said that Punjabis are so much disenchanted with the Aam Aadmi Party’s agenda for the Punjab and claimed that this party would not successful even winning a single seat in the ensuing Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections.
Taking a dig at political jugglery played by comedian Navjot Singh Sidhu for backtracking from his claim to form a new political party, Sukhbir said that people of Punjab have cold shouldered Navjot Sidhu and rejected his move to form new party. He said that now Sidhu in the state of utter desperation has backtracked form his announcement and shelved the plan to form a new party. DP
