Aruna Chaudhary starts pre-primary: Education department has introduced pre-primary classes at Govt Primary School on Children’s Day. Aruna Chaudhary inaugurates the project at Mohali phase- 7 on 14 November,Tuesday. Children between the age of 3-6 year will get admission in theses pre-primary classes of all 12,500 schools of states.Meanwhile the age limit was set upto 6 years earlier, now it has been set between 3-6 year due to lack of students and on the request of schools administrations.Noticeably the children were going to Aanganwadi for primary education, so workers protested against the decision. They said that if children will go to the pre-primary classes it will affect their job.On other side Education department is satisfied with this decision and stated this will be revolution in education sector.The Secretary, Education, Krishan Kumar said that a function is held in all the primary schools of the state where children were welcomed into pre-primary classes. He further said that the children from 3-6 year age group under this initiative named Khed Mahal have been admitted into the Nursery, LKG and UKG classes and the children would be taught using the playful methods.
