Badal government appointed Dhaliwal PPSC member quits. Six months after becoming a member of the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), Dr Tejinder Kaur Dhaliwal resigned from the post citing personal reasons.The Badal government had appointed her in December 2016 just before the Assembly elections. Earlier, she remained chairperson of the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) in 2013, where she served for nearly three years.
She has again taken over charge of principal at the SGPC-run Guru Nanak College for Girls in Muktsar. Dhaliwal said, “I resigned from the post of PPSC member on June 22.” On her reasons for doing so, she said, “I always had an interest in academics, thus, I took this decision.Otherwise, the tenure of PPSC member is for six years but I served for just six months. There is no other reason for my resignation,” she clarified.
