Fatehgarh Sahib: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee president Prof Kirpal Singh Badungar on Tuesday laid foundation stone of Mata Sahib Kaur Yatri Niwas near Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib.
Gyani Harpal Singh, Head Granthi Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib performed ardas for successful completion of the project. The kar sewa (work) will carry out under the supervision of Baba Bachan Singh Delhi wale. Prof Badungar informed that construction of three story inn of 200 room will be completed till December of this year.
He said large number of devotees used to pay obeisance to younger sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh and Mata Gujri in last week of December. SGPC had already set up a 190 room inn for the stay of devotees and now another Yatri Niwas(inn) will be constructed to facilitate more devotees.
Prof Badugnar honoured Baba Bachan Singh, Baba Gulzar Singh, Baba Surinder Singh, Baba Balbir Singh and Baba Diwan Singh. On this occasion SGPC member Karnail Singh Panjoli, Ravinder Singh Khalsa, Avtar Singh Riya, former SGPC member Surinder Kaur, senior SAD leaders Ranjit Singh Libra, Baljit Singh Bhutta, SGPC Additional Secretary Paramjit Singh, vice secretary Simarjit Singh, Manager Natha Singh was also present.
