Taking a dig at Aam Aadmi party over the absence of party’s senior leader and Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann, Cabinet Minister, Bikram Majithia on Saturday said that AAP has nothing to do with Punjab or Punjabi leaders. AAP only adopts use and throw policy when it comes to Punjabi leaders. He said that former convenor, Sucha Singh Chhotepur worked hard for strengthening the party in state, but in the end he was shown the door. He said these acts clearly show that AAP does not think about welfare of Punjab and its residents.
Majithia was in Ludhiana to attend bhog ceremony of Jagdish kaur Brar, grandmother of Parminder Singh Brar, OSD to Deputy Chief Minister, Sukhbir Singh Badal.Terming Congress leaders as frustrated and issueless, Majithia said that Congress MLA doesn’t have any issue to raise in Vidhan Sabha, and to gain publicity they hurl shoe which un democratic.
Majithia further added that leaders of AAP have leveled serious allegations against party high command and residents of Punjab will not tolerate anti-Punjab and anti-Sikh stand of Aam Aadmi Party.Talking to Daily Post, Majithia said that behaviour of Congress MLAs in recently held Vidhan Sabha session was a murder of democratic values. He said that the use of unparliamentary language by Congressmen in Vidhan Sabha and tactics used by them for disrupting monsoon session has hurt minds of those who firmly believe in democracy.
He stated that leaders of AAP are non-Punjabis as well as power hungry. He further added that AAP sometimes use image of broom with image of Sri Harimandir Sahib, which holds highest regard in the minds of all Sikhs. Now Gurpreet Ghuggi has equated Kejriwal with Panj Piaras.
