Chandigarh: Punjab BJP president Vijay Sampla has given a call to the party leaders and cadres to carry out a statewide ‘Sampark Abhiyan’ from 25th to 30th September. Sampla said that the Sampark Abhiyan will be dedicated to Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar and Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyay to commemorate their 350th, 125th and 100th birth anniversaries respectively, wherein the workers will pass on the message of unity to each and every household in the state.
Addressing the party office-bearers and workers here at the party headquarters, Vijay Sampla said, “Campaigns like the Tiranga Yatra and Gram Uday – Bharat Uday, which have been carried out by the BJP in the past were successful owing to the dedication of party leaders and cadres. These drives were very much appreciated by the Central leadership, which again wants the party workers to gear up for mission 2017”.
Sampla also informed that under Ujjawala scheme of the NDA govt, almost nine lakh poor women in Punjab were being provided free gas connections. He asked party workers to ensure that every needy family in the state gets benefited from this scheme.
Shedding more light on the campaign, Punjab BJP secretary, Vineet Joshi said, “Under the Sampark Abhiyan, programs will be held in every village and town of the state from 25th to 30th September.
Participation of each and every member of the society will be ensured in these programs. In the meeting held today, state organisation general secretary Dinesh Kumar highlighted various aspects of the campaign”.
