Case hearing vulgar songs High Court: While youngsters are going crazy for latest Punjabi numbers, a professor from Chandigarh has protested the use of vulgar words and promotion of liquor and weapons in most Punjabi songs.Prof Panditrao Dharenavar, who hails from Karnataka and teaches at Government College in Chandigarh, stood outside the PAU for a couple of hours in the evening, carrying a placard.In the message on the placard, the professor has warned singers, who have already sung vulgar songs, that they make a public apology before December 15, or else he would file a case against them in the Punjab and Haryana High Court.But no one make any apology so that’s why he filed a case in Punjab and Haryana Court.On that note today was case hearing against the case in High Court. High Court orders to make panel for suggestion in this case. In this panel Prof Panditrao Dharenavar and four senior advocates will be given their suggestion. Next hearing will be on 6th February 2018.
