Ludhiana: Here comes the nine divine days! The city residents are all geared up with the preparations. The time when city will be soaked in worshiping God and fasting for these nine days has finally arrived. Gone are the days when these days were just meant for celebrating only by Gujarati’s.
Rather not only the Gujarati people in the city celebrate this festival but the Punjabis too commemorate it with great fervor and gusto.
They are all geared up with the preparation for these 9 days.
Many people do fasting for all the nine days in a religious way by doing the prayers in the evening and morning.
Not only the residents rather the temples are decorated beautifully with bling of lights for
these nine divine days as first Navratra is today.
Nishant from Radhe Radhe Pooja Bhandar at Dandi Swami Road said,

Navkiran Kaur, a housewife and a resident from Randhir Singh Nagar said, “Who says that this festival is only for Gujarati people?
Being a Punjabi I
keep fast for 9 days and our whole family celebrates it with full zest and zeal.
