Ferozepur : Ferozepur Division Commissioner V K Meena holds a meeting along with Deputy Commissioner Ramaveer, Additional Deputy Commissioner Shruti Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev), Vaneet Kumar and other officers of Revenue Department regarding the work of Revenue Department’s activities and various ongoing development projects and Welfare schemes of Centre and State Government.
V K Meena gave guidelines to officers to implement the welfare schemes as per the guidelines of Punjab Government to provide benfits to those who deserve. And all these benefits should be given at the root level. So that the people do not have to face any difficulty.
He had recieved information including those of law and order, flood protection, Development activities/projects of different departments, schemes, programs, Rural and Urban Mission, Fard Kendres etc, and also related Rural Development Fund, MP Land Scheme, welfare schemes of Centre and the State Government such as border area development projects, Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana, Sawaran Jayanti Gram Yojana/Narega, Water Supply, Sewarage works etc. from the officers of different departments.
At this time Deputy Commissioner Ramveer said that the construction of Railway over-bridge on Ferozepur-Moga Road near Grain Market, Ferozepur Cantt at cost about Rs. 56 Crore will be completed in the year 2018. On this occasion Gurmeet Singh Dhillon DDPO, Manjeet Singh Xen PWD, Dr Renu Singla Deputy Medical Officer, BDPO Surjit Singh along with officers of various departments were also present.
