Ludhiana : – Demanding action against Lok Insaaf party (LIP) MLA from Atam Nagar Simarjit Singh Bains, the large number of members of Revenue Patwar union and kanango association staged protest outside the office of Deputy Commissioner on Tuesday. The union also announced to continue the protest on Wednesday and Friday at all Tehsils of district Ludhiana. Leading the protest, Rupinder Singh Grewal, president of revenue Patwar union said that MLA Bains along with his supporters blackmail Patwari’s after recording videos and fake sting operation.He said that they have submitted memorandum to Deputy Commissioner on September 15 demanding action against Bains but no action has been taken till date. Now the union has decided to stage protest outside the offices of Additional Deputy Commissioners in District Ludhiana till October 6. The next course of action will be decided in state level meeting of Union on October 6, added Grewal.The protestors said that Bains has ignored the development of his constituency and to diver the attention of people and to gain limelight he along with his supporters make videos of government employees and post on social media with derogatory comments.Rupinder Grewal said that if MLA have information of any government employee accepting bribe he should inform the vigilance department. The only motive of Bains is to gain publicity and throw money on the table of government employees and record their videos. It is pertinent to mention here that from September 15, the Patwaris and Kanango’s of district Ludhiana were on strike and the people were facing problems.
