Dera Sacha Sauda Verdict : Punjab govt authorises DGP to impose curfew. Punjab Government has met NRC commander to prevent any unwanted incidents in the state after CBI verdict on Sadhavi sexual harassment case against Dera Chief Ram Rahim. The Punjab government has given the police chief the right to impose curfew incase required. At the same time, the Punjab government has also withdrawn its security from the Chief Minister, ministers and other VIP people and has put them in Punjab. Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh said that no one will be allowed to disturb peace of the state. After the Cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister said that Punjab has suffered a great deal of loss in the past and will not allow anybody to disturb the atmosphere. He said that 75 RPF FF companies and 10 companies of BSF have come and the same has come in Haryana. Hospital, fire brigade and other necessary equipment have been set up. Haryana has also stopped bus services. But the Court’s decision will be revealed tomorrow. Responding to a question, he said that whatever any of the followers want to do may do within the Dera itself, but no one would be allowed to create any mess outside. Some arms have also been recovered from the location. The Chief Minister said that the Chief Secretary and the DGP have spoken to the military Southern Commanders and the army has been asked to be prepared for this. He also told that the High Court also asked the Advocate General of Punjab to provide information about tomorrow’s security arrangements. Dera Sacha Sauda Verdict.
