Nawanshahr: Few days back, two Babbar Khalsa militants were arrested in Uttar Pradesh, after which the Punjab Police had brought them to Punjab on a transit warrant for interrogation. Two Babbar Khalsa militants have made big disclosure during police remand.The terrorists disclosed that they were planing to disturb the peace of Punjab by preparing the misguided youth of Punjab as a terrorist. To carry out this conspiracy, they had brought 11 pistols from Uttar Pradesh for punjabi misleaded youth. DSP Harwinder Singh and CIA in-charge Surinder Chand said that Jaswant Singh of village Sohanewal, Muktsar and Balwant Singh of Tarn Taran were produced before the court on Sunday and they have been given six days of additional remand, during which they were interrogated.DSP said that Uttar Pradesh Police had caught Balwant from Lucknow and Jaswant from Unnao on the basis of input of Punjab Police. Balwant Singh used to buy pistols while Jaswant Singh used to search for misguided youth. After selecting such youth, Jaswant used to take them to Balwant who provided them with pistol and directed them to continue the work on their level, when needed, they would have to work for organization.They have admitted to bringing 11 pistols so far. Police has recovered another pistol on the information provided by them. Police brought them to Nawanshehr from Uttar Pradesh on 19 August.
