Banga farmers protested against claimed ‘Bye-Pass’. Today the farmers union protest against of building the ‘Byepass’ outside Banga. Unions had a meeting before this. Union leader said if the center government will ease the some shopkeeper and build the bye-pass and destroy the all farmers, then farmers will oppose this act of government and will not give the land of even one inch.The farmers of the Buddha Singh balakipura, Satnam Singh ladiam, Inderjit Singh, Sukhwinder Singh Khatkarkalan, Ram Lobhaya Sarpanch Khatkar Khurd, Haripala Banga, jasavaridara Singh Jassa Kaleran, Navdeep Singh anokharavala, Kashmira Singh and other farmers leaders of Doaba said that farmers already have less land and after this act, they will face more crisis that will not be tolerated at any cost.He said that the farmers have ancestral land and they have complete papers of their ownership. He warned the government that instead of keeping an eye on anybody’s land, the government should vacate their own land. Farmers will only help build the road or flyover of the government Banga, so that they held vacant land from people who illegally governing land in Banga town. After this where farmers had protested in Banga city. On other side they gave memorandum to the SDM on the name of the government, which the farmers talked of widening the flyover or the road in Banga town instead of building bye-pass. He said that if the government did not accept the demand for cancellation of bye-pass by August 1, then he would close Banga city as a protest.
