Another setback for AAP as its leader Walia to join SAD, today
Chandigarh(Narinder Jagga): It seems difficult to keep the party unite AAP in Punjab. Although the state unit is going under revamp process, but its leaders have been leaving the party. Party is likely to suffer another jolt, tomorrow as its leader and candidate of Assembly election from Jalandhar Cantt. , Harkishan Walia has announced to join Shiromani Akali Dal. Endorsing his decision, he told to Daily Post that there is nothing like State unit in the Punjab, while the Central leadership has lost its way. He had got 25,912 votes in Assembly election with third position.Few days ago another candidate of Punjab Assembly of AAP, Dr. Amarjit Thind has joined Akali Dal, while Babu Neelkanth, another leader of AAP, has joined Congress from the same Jalandahr District. Palwinder Kaur, assembly candidate from Shutrana has also in the list, who has quit the party, a few days ago. President and Co-president, Bhagwant Mann and Aman Arora, respectively, had resigned from their post in the mid of March month. It is told that there is no coordination between organisation and legislative group. Sources told that revamp process is going on in the State unit and later it will be started in the legislative group. Announcement of President Post is likely to be declared in 1-2 days, but amid it, leader of the party Walia will join Akali Dal tomorrow. Stating that he had joined the AAP not as political party, but as a movement against corruption and system, but it has left its rules. Elaborating about to join SAD, he described that it is the alone party, which think in the interest of the State.
