Eight BJP councillors demand no-Confidence motion against Nangal MC president. Raising objections over the working of the president of Nangal Municipal Council, as many as 8 councilors belonging to Bhartiya Janta Party submitted a memorandum to the Executive Officer of Nangal Council here on Monday and demanded to convene an house meeting for bringing the no-confidence motion against the President. All the councilors of BJP alleged that the president Ashok Puri has failed to ensure the proper development of Nangal.Councilor Rajesh Chaudhary alleged that council president has raised his income many folds that directly hints his involvement in corrupt practices. He also alleged 盟 the corruption in Nangal Council under Ashok Puri’s leadership has risen extensively. Rajesh Chaudhary blamed that while allocating the tenders the president of Nangal Council takes bribe and he sometimes takes a meager amount of rupees five hundreds from the contractors. On the other hand, the President of Nangal Council Ashok Puri denied all the allegations and Said all the allegations made against him are politically motivated.As far as no-confidence motion is concerned, President Ashok Puri Said that the councilors can exercise their rights. “I have full majority in the house and if it is required, I can prove it,” added Ashok Pullri. When contacted Executive Officer Manjinder Singh, he said that the 8 BJP Councillors submitted a request to call the meeting of the house for bringing no-confidence Motion against the President. However, Executive Officer said that time will be given to the President to prove that the majority of the house is with him.
