Both father and son Lakhbir Singh and Karanbir Singh resident of Harike came in a Mahindra Scorpio, PB 08 CE 0081. On checking 295 grams of heroin, 12,000 cash, a 32 bore revolver and 5 live cartridges were recovered from them. The police immediately arrested both father and son.Let us tell that Lakhbir Singh, arrested by the police, is a former constable of the Punjab Police, who had retired from Faridkot. During his posting at Faridkot, he had been in touch with the drug smugglers, after which he started selling heroin.
