Chandigarh • June 22:-Fatehgarh Sahib, a historic and religious city, will be developed as a tourist circuit. This is the tourism and cultural affairs minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, MLA from Fatehgarh Sahib, during the question of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. In response to the question raised by Kuljit Singh Nagra.
S. Sidhu said that for the development of Fatehgarh Sahib as tourist circuit, historical and religious buildings are being constructed here. Describing them in detail, he said that the land scraping of Rafiudin mausoleum in Fatehgarh Sahib and reconstruction of Rafiudin tomb, alfasani mausoleum, Bibi Tajmabar and Rosa Sharif mosque are in real condition and save.Likewise, to rebuild and preserve the various buildings in Fatehgarh Sahib, such as the Nagar, Shish Mahal, MehtaBi Bagh, Northern Pandal and the tower. Typical re-usable tenders have been set, which is the expiry date 27-06-2017.
Tourism and Culture Affairs Minister said that besides the above, under the Swadesh Darshan (Heritage Circuit) scheme of Tourism Ministry of India, under the Mughal circular, the proposal to develop a common special garden is under the government. Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib, Roza Sharif and Jagteshwari Temple, which hold religious and historical greatness, will also be developed through the Spiral Circuit of Government of India Tourism Ministry.S. Sidhu said that it is the land where there is a pilgrim place for every religion. The common ground of all religions gives humanity a message and they believe that this city will be fully developed as a religious circuit.
