Chandigarh: Education Minister Dr Daljeet Singh Cheema and Director General School Education Pradeep Kumar Aggarwal inaugurated TEFES program through EDUSAT on Tuesday in the presence of other senior education officials such as Chairperson, Punjab School Education Board, Director SCERT, Additional State Project Director – SSA, Deputy State Projector Director RMSA, PICTES, Director Digital Equalizer Program, AIF and representative from DELL.

AIF is associated with Department of School Education, Punjab since 2005 and implementing its signature program – Digital Equalizer which is used as a platform to deliver various curriculum related subjects including Financial Literacy and cleanliness issues
Department of School Education, Punjab is taking several initiatives to bring innovation in classrooms and thereby improving the learning outcomes. Considering the critical need and overwhelming response of teachers and students about financial literacy, The American India Foundation Trust (AIFT) with generous support of DELL has agreed to conduct training for teachers and students through Edusat in collaboration with Department of School Education, Punjab for strengthening education system in 3,289 government schools.
