Ludhiana: ISTE Student Chapter of Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GNIMT), Gujarkhan campus, Model Town, Ludhiana organised a talent hunt programme as part of Independence Celebrations. Songs, skits and dance performances depicting Independence Day theme were held.
The new students enthusiastically took part in the talent hunt also and the results of the same were as follows:
Debate: Parmjit Singh & Sharda of MBA-III got first positon, Ricky Sharma and Sakshi of MBA-I got second position and Ranjit Singh & Mansi Chopra got 3rd position.
Declamation: Charanpreet of MBA-III got first position, Gurpartap Singh of MBA-III got second position and Ricky Sharma of MBA-I got third position.
Extempore: Hashpreet Singh BBA-I got first position, Khushboo of MCA-V got second position and Paramjit Singh of MBA-III got third position.
Solo Singing: Tarvinder Kaur of BBA-V, Amanpreet Kaur of MBA-I got first position, Harsimrat Kaur, of BBA-III, Davinder Singh of MBA-III got second position and Arshdeep Singh of BBA-III and Rani Meha of MBA-I got third position.
Group Singing: Siran, Iram, Bableen, Monjouri of MBA-III got first position, Gautam & Rahul of BBA-V got second position and Harsohaleep and Sukhpreet of BBA-I got third position.
Solo Dance: Saket of BCA, Ashima Arora of MBA-III got first position, Diaa of BBA-I got second position and Rajan of BCA & Twinkle of B.com-V got third position.
Group Dance: Kran, Rahul, Sukhpreet, Pavneet, Nitika, Sahil, Muskan, Pallavi, Pallavi Shamra & Gardeep of B.Com-I got first position. Bikram Singh, Japsidak Singh, Karandeep Singh of BBA-I stood second and Vanika, Simran, Athira, Sakshi, Jasmine, Satpreet, Harshpreet, Richa & Tavleen got third position.
Dr. Sandhya Mehta, Dy. Director had coordinated the entire celebrations and praised the new talents that emerged out of it. Dr. (Col.) H.S.Singha, Director of the Institute emphasized the importance of displaying the talents by various students and also commemorating the Independence Day that helped in inculcating patriotic feelings in the students. He congratulated the winners and expressed hope that the talents that have emerged will be useful for organizing and taking part in youth festivals.
