Punjab government with assistance of World Bank will spend Rs 10 crore to provide 24 hours clean and regular water supply to 100 villages of district Fatehgarh Sahib.
This was disclosed by Minister for Water Supply and Sanitation, Surjit Singh Rakhra while inaugurating 24 hours regular and clean water supply schemes in three villages of district with the cost of around Rs 1.68 crore and laying foundation stone to start the scheme at village Sampla with the cost of Rs 51.60 lakh.
Rakhra said that said Congress and Aam Adami Party are misleading people and defaming Punjab in the name of drugs. He appealed people to vote for SAD-BJP alliance in forthcoming assembly elections. Fatehgarh Sahib, Deputy Commissioner, Kamaldeep Singh Sangha said the schemes have started after checking all standards.
